Des, Maria and family,
My condolences on your loss. I never had the pleasure of meeting Marie however I had many glimpses of her through Des’s reminiscing. I got a picture of a strong vibrant successful woman, supportive Mother and doting Nana. Marie was often in my thoughts and prayers these past few years. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Dear Jackie, Mike and Jess,
So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Even though I had only met her the once, I felt like I knew her through you Jackie and all the care and attention you and your siblings gave to her (and your Dad) over the past few years.
She was fortunate to have such a loving family with her through everything she experienced with her health recently, which is a tribute to her and how she raised her children.
Thinking of you at this time,
Ann Partington

Please accept my deepest condolences to the McDonnell family at the loss of their mother, grandmother. I was so very fortunate to have met Marie and Des many years ago and a lasting friendship started from the moment we first met. We shared so many wonderful times together, laughter, trying on clothes in her clothing store with a glass of wine in hand, going to shop and going for lunches amongst many other wonderful times spent together.
Marie was a beautiful woman inside and out. She was happy, generous to all who knew her, a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Even when I went to see her at Amica, she had a smile, laughter and wanted to put on lipstick and nailpolish. She was always well dressed. Such a warm and kind woman.
I will cherish our friendship of many years.
Rest in peace Marie.
