My sincerest condolences to the entire Davey family. I have fond memories of being one of the Davey kids in my early years. I have such vivid memories of feeding Scrappy cheese, coming over for Frosted Flakes in the morning, and most pointedly of Mom. The countless times she jumped in the station wagon to get us to UPS on time for school! I am deeply saddened to learn of Kathy's passing. She was a vibrant and spirited soul with such a kind heart. Sending love, sympathy, and solace to you all during this time.

Many of my best childhood memories were spent with Nicole, the Davey family and in the Davey home. I will always remember Mrs. Davey for being a caring, welcoming and loving mother who was easy to be around and loved to laugh. Her warmness, sense of humour and joyous nature will no doubt live on through her 5 children and many grandchildren. Our deepest condolences to the Davey family for suffering such a great loss. -Kerri & Sean

I had the privilege of being able to work with Kathryn Davey for several years when we were both employed at York University. Because of the nature of our jobs, the initial relationship was adversarial; soon that changed to having great respect for each other. Eventually, although we never compromised our professional relationship we discovered that we truly liked working together. We each had our first grandchild around the same time and that became yet another item for conversation. During that time, I also met her son, Ryan while he was a student and came to work for the department in which I was involved. I was disappointed when Kathryn left to assume employment elsewhere and we continued to be friends but we met far too infrequently. Through Ryan, we kept in touch and I was saddened when her health had deteriorated. My thoughts are with you and my condolences to the family.

Our sincere condolences go out to the entire Davey family. Mrs.Davey will always be mom#2 to me and forever in my heart and prayers. Truly the most beautiful woman inside and out. When my bestie (Aimee) got engaged to my cousin, she said "Annie we are officially family now" ! In that same telephone conversation she said " I am proud and happy all my kids found happiness".❤️ I will forever cherish the memories.
