I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Dr. Peters. I was a patient of his since before I was born; I was among the first babies he delivered at Scarborough General (I will be 50 in March), and if it was not for his quick thinking, I would not be here today. My mom told me her entire life, that Dr. Peters saved me on the day of my birth from being strangled with my umbilical cord. From the time I was small, I have remained eternally grateful to him for my life on this Earth. My husband "inherited" Dr. Peters when we married, and even though he was not an ongoing patient of his, he marvelled at how intelligent, kind and caring he was on the occasions he saw him. Our most sincere condolences to his family on their loss.He was a beautiful soul, an amazing doctor and an incredible human being. From the depths of my heart, I will never forget him and will never be able to repay him for everything that I have. God Speed, your rest was well earned. Requiescat in Pace.
