Obituary of Richard Fitzpatrick

Richard Joseph Fitzpatrick Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to parents Richard Francis Fitzpatrick and Laura May Meisner, Rick (as he was known to many) spent most of his childhood in Brighton, Ontario. He met Cheryl at Loyalist College and they married in 1974. They moved to the Greater Toronto area where he worked in merchant services for Sears, JP Morgan Chase and Scotiabank. Father and coach, Rick was a natural mentor, friend to many, and was supportive of everyone he met. Beloved husband of Cheryl. Loving father to Heather (Keith Button) and Daniel Fitzpatrick, and doting grandfather to Patrick Button. Supportive brother to Patricia (Bob Hutchinson), and Carolyn Shannon (Vic Silvio). Brother-in-law to Betty and Ron Quinn, Glenda and Ken Prkachin, Darlene and Tom Ledwell, Leona Craig, and Russell and Beverley Craig. Uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by many.
