Obituary of Sylvia Houghton

Houghton Sylvia: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Houghton on June 2 at the age of 72, at Markham Stouffville Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be missed by her loving husband of nearly 50 years and best friend Bruce, her 2 sons David(Christine) Derek(Kerry) and by her 6 grandchildren, Meaghan, Alexandra, Macleod, Tyler, Adam and Chase. She will also be missed by her siblings Linda, Janice and Denis, the real estate community and the many friends and clients she touched and was committed too. Sylvia leaves behind a great legacy in Markham Real Estate and the community. Visitation will be held at Dixon Garland Funeral Home on Wednesday June 15 from 2-4 and 6-9. A celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close family and friends.
