Childhood memories. Sister I know you can hear this song. We were so close as children. We shared a bed and clothes and chores around the house. We have memories and secrets. You were the best big sister ever. Hopes of being with you again warm my heart. Keep my side of the bed warm until I get there. Everytime someone plays this song, my love goes out to you. Love you always. Ruth

My heart goes out to all family and friends of Eileen! I remember her as the fun-loving, cool Mom who could sit down and relate to us when we were teenagers. Admired and loved her so! Met my husband-to-be at one of the Moore parties! We moved far from the family as young adults, but, by fluke, were lucky enough to spend part of our honeymoon with the Moore family in Los Cabos. Eileen took us in like one of the clan! Love and miss you...rest easy... <3

Dear Mom It's one month today since you found your way home to the angels. Christmas is coming and we are trying to find peace with that. I received a beautiful verse from a friend who was trying to comfort me. It reminded me of what you might try to say to us if you could. I hope whomever else might read it here will find it some peace in it, as I did. Love you, Miss you, Merry Christmas. xo Cheryl I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars, reflecting on the snow The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here. I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring, For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing. I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart But I am not so far away, we really aren’t apart. So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear. And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year. I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above. I sent you each a memory of my undying love. After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold It was always most important in the stories Jesus told. Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do For I can’t count the blessing or love he has for each of you So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away that tear Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

BIG TORRO'S Fridays was always mom's night off. We would all load into the car getting out of mom's hair for a bit. Dad whom karen had tagged "charles" would drive our rowdy excited crew over to the restaurant where he would let us pick anything our hearts desired. Glorious Friday had arrived, oh joy!
By the time we were through we would have a big bag full of wonderful scents to load onto the kitchen table. Loads of pop and Russells sweet precious choice of his "hang gerber" with HP sauce.
Karen and I would quickly run downstairs to the bar and make dad his drink so he could go chill in his chair and we could go enjoy our treat as mom sat reading one of her stories in peace on, BIG TORRO'S night
