Obituary of Anne Coady

Anne M. Coady April 27, 1957 - November 16, 2015 It is with deepest gratitude that we give thanks for the life of our Anne. In death, as in life, her heart remains connected to ours. Beloved and loving wife and best friend of Derm FitzPatrick, she has always been God's gift and will be forever cherished. Youngest sister to Paula (Dominic), Margaret, Bill (Cathy), Pat (Des) and Marilyn (Hazen). Devoted "Aunt Tanne" to Renee, Lori, Richard, Amanda, Kate, Bill, Susan, Ronald, Deanna and Elizabeth. Wonderful great aunt to William and Matthew, Lucas, Thomas, and Nicholas (the 'Mullaly Boys'), Jillian, Jessica and Julia (the Broomfield Beauties), and Stephen, Aidan and Logan. Our world is a better place because of her presence to us. Anne has touched our spirits with her humour, her words of wisdom and her down to earth sense of practicality. We know that she will continue to do so as we share her story. Lovingly known as the 'Goddess of Education' among her closest colleagues, she invites us to be lifelong learners as she has always been...open to the new and the unexplored. Cremation has already taken place. Visitation will be at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N., Markham on Thursday, November 19th 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9. A celebration to honour Anne's life will take place on Friday, November 20th at 7:00 pm in the Chapel. Final resting will take place in St. John's, Newfoundland.
