I am so sad to hear of Anne's passing. She was a beautiful person who touched the lives of so many. She taught me many years ago at St. Teresa's in NL, and was Youth Minister of our Youth Group. A genuine, down to earth and caring friend who definitely had an impact on my life. I will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of being Ms.Coady's student during my Grade 7 year (1995-1996)at St. John XXIII. Over the years I have had many educators that have influenced me and inspired me to become a teacher myself. I can remember Ms. Coady always pushing us to succeed and to strive to do the best we could. She instilled in us to be intrinsically motivated to achieve but also to become life long learners and to always seek knowledge. My heart and prayers go out to her family, friends and school community. Her legacy will live on through all the lives she touched and inspired. God Bless you and thank you Ms.Coady !!

A long, long time ago, we gave Anne a Christmas Candle along with a Candle Snuffer. This was the first Candle Snuffer Anne had ever received. She was absolutely delighted about this and thanked us over and over again.
As the next Christmas approached, we remembered her joyful response, so we set out to find another candle Snuffer . Her response was very entertaing to Derm and us.
You guessed it, the next year we did it again and thus her candle Snuffer collection was
on the way.
One Christmas, we couldn't find a candle Snuffer, and to say the least Anne was disappointed.
Well, we made it a point of making sure that whenever we saw a candle Snuffer, we
bought it and put it away for Christmas.
So for us, we will always remember Anne's delight in receiving a candle Snuffer.

Ms Coady was my 7th grade teachers at St Brigid Catholic Elenentary School. She was also the first teacher that I remember having a significant impact on my life. She not only challenged us to push ourselves academically, she saw the strengths in each of us an challenged us to be the best people that we could be. She was inspiring, emotional, intelligent, professional and personal with her students- helping us all with problems that we fought early into our adult years. She will sorely be missed, by those of us who knew her and those who never had the pleasure to.
