Obituary of Sydney Conant

Conant, Sydney Irene (Colledge) nee Gray At Markham Stouffville Hospital after a brief illness, on May 9th, 2015 at 91 years. Beloved wife of 25 wonderful years to Douglas. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 41 years, Bill Colledge. Dear friend and mother to her daughters Cynthia (Wayne) Robinson, Gretchen (Neville) Jeens, Kevin (Jody) Grew, and Robin (Rob) Schaufler. Cherished grandmother to Lindsay, Brady, Erin, Chris, Heidi, Allison, Jason, Zoe, Connor, Anna, and 22 great-grandchildren. Sydney's affinity for music and singing sustained her throughout her life. Her love of family, magnificent sense of humour, and remarkable strength have been an inspiration to all of us. She will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Until we meet again. A family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, Markham.
