Obituary of D'Arcy Pigott

Pigott D'Arcy With heavy hearts we announce the passing of D'Arcy Pigott after a lengthy illness at Toronto General Hospital on February 21, 2015. D'Arcy was the loving and devoted husband of Pam, his wife for 39 years. They were blessed with a very strong and happy marriage and were devoted to each other. Pam will hold D'Arcy in her heart forever. He was the very proud father of Patrick and Stephanie and he was always very loving, caring and nuturing, as well as a very strong presence in their lives. He was so happy when Patrick found his soulmate, Susan Dixon and they blessed him with two grandsons, Kane and Brogan, his little men. He was very close to his brother, Sean and he loved him with all his heart. They braved many storms together and supported each other throughout it all. D'Arcy was predeceased by his parents Jean Jacques Pigott and Carol Pigott, his brother Jean Jacques Pigott Jr. and his sister Susan. He was the grandson of the late Mr and Mrs J.M. Pigott of Hamilton, Ontario and the late Mr and Mrs W.D. Gray of Toronto. He leaves behind his Aunt Ann, Aunt Sydney, many nieces, nephews , cousins, and dear friends. He is with God now and at peace. Many thanks to Dr Imre Fejer for his care over the past decade, along with the doctors and nurses at Toronto General Hospital. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North (Markham Road), Markham, Ontario, on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St Patrick's Parish, 5633 Highway #7, Markham , on Saturday at 12:30 pm.
