Dear Peggy and Craig and your families. Ann Darling phoned to tell that your Mom passed away this weekend. I wanted to touch base, because my Mom and Dad were great friends with your Mom and Dad. Gerry and I just celebrated our 44th weeding anniversary on May 23rd, and your Dad iced our cake. He iced a cake for Jean and John's 30th anniversary that Charlie and Ann hosted. Even Charlie passed away this passed November, so Ann is the only one left. I remember suppers at your home and vacations at a cottage at Lake Nipissing with your Dad, and lots of Boy Scout stories.
