Although our interaction with Bill was brief. He was always a gentleman. He was quick to say greetings whenever we saw each other in the laneway. I remember sharing some moments about his vegetable crop over this past summer. We talked about his tomatoes and corn and we shared a few laughs. He struck me as being a very nice man that I wished I could have known longer. My wife and I are very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow.

Remembering Bill: I was very fortunate to have worked under Bill's supervision at Novopharm Pharmaceuticals, prior to his retirement. He was a man who gave his 'heart and soul' to his duties and literally worked as 'hard' as his team mates every day. He talked so lovingly of his 'Dear Peggy' who passed while working as management for Novopharm, and who also was very well respected for her work ethics. Bill adored his Daughter who lovingly took him into their home after Peggy's passing. The last time my wife Jackie and I ran into Bill was at a little tea shop in Port Perry with some lady friends where the staff lit up when he walked into their shop and said "will it be the regular Billy? - tea with cream and he confirmed yes indeed. To quote an Irish saying "Death is but the quenching of a candle at daybreak". With our warmest memories Randy and Jackie Martin
