Rita is my Nanna. We didn't get enough time together, so I cherish the time we had, and the memories we made. Nanna was one of the kindest, gentlest, and most generous people I've met. One of my favourite memories with her was reading together. I loved reading Mortimer and Sadie and the Snowman with her. Once, Nanna took me to see my Mom at her work, and they had a book fair going on. Nanna bought me a dinosaur book that I read for years until I got too old for it. My favourite book I own is one she wrote for me. On my 10th birthday she gave me a book where she wrote about every time she saw me from the day I was born until she filled the book.
Nanna always went above and beyond for people she cared about. Being without her will be hard because of the impact she's had on our lives, but knowing she's at peace and no longer suffering will make it easier.
You can rest now Nanna. I hope you know how much we all love, appreciate, and miss you. ❤
My mother in law was an angel. She loved me and showed me love from the moment we met. She embraced my entire family almost immediately as well. We had a beautiful relationship as mother and daughter, but we also had a friendship. I could talk to her about anything and I trusted her with my life. Mum, I miss you, love you, and I am thankful for all our memories. Rest In Peace xoxo
