The world has lost a truly extraordinary person. Rita was a woman of unwavering faith, boundless energy, and endless love for her family and friends. I first met Rita when my sister Christina became engaged to Patrick. Rita opened her heart and home not just to Christina, but to my family as well. She always made us all feel so welcomed in her home. With her gracious hospitality and her husband Max's quirkly sense of humour - it was always a pleasure to be in their presence.
I have always rested easy knowing that my sister was a part of Rita's family. It was so evident that Rita loved and cherished her family, especially her grand-daughters. They shared the most special bond.
Rita brought comfort and happiness to everyone around her, and her absence leaves an indescribable void.
Saliba family, we offer our deepest sympathies and stand with you during this difficult time. May her memory be a blessing and may her spirit continue to guide and inspire us all. Rest In Peace Rita.

Rest in Peace beautiful Auntie Rita. You always had a smile on your face, infectious laugh and were a giving soul. I remember many visits to your house through out the years...you always had some amazing baked goods to share. I remember when I was very young and Auntie Rita used to babysit me and we taught Patrick how to walk. I will always cherish the memories. May you rest in peace and breathe at ease. Sending our deepest sympathies to the Saliba family during this difficult time.

From the age of 9-13, I spent a portion of most days at the Saliba's home. Patrick and I were pretty much together all the time until i moved from the neighborhood, we were really good friends. I can't even count how many meals Rita fed me as a kid. Max and Rita treated me like one of their own whenever I was there, and I was there a lot. She kept the cleanest and most orgainzed home I have ever and will ever be inside of for as long as I live. I only have really good memories of Patrick's parents and brother Brian. I can only imagine how devastating this loss must feel. Rest in peace Rita, and thanks for being so good to me during all the times spent in your home.

My mother in law was an angel. She loved me and showed me love from the moment we met. She embraced my entire family almost immediately as well. We had a beautiful relationship as mother and daughter, but we also had a friendship. I could talk to her about anything and I trusted her with my life. Mum, I miss you, love you, and I am thankful for all our memories. Rest In Peace xoxo
