Candy brought so much joy and left us with countless cherished memories. Growing up, we were fortunate to spend time with the Stokes family at many gatherings, creating bonds that we hold dear. We especially treasure the times we were welcomed to the cottage for family reunions—those moments are unforgettable.
Both Krista and I will always remember Candy’s warmth, kindness, and her vibrant, fun-loving spirit. Though distance prevented us from staying as close as we would have liked, the memories we shared with the Stokes will forever bring a smile to our faces.
She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and laughter lives on in all who knew her.

I was truly fortunate to have had Candace as part of our School Tour Program at Markham Stouffville Hospital. She played such an important role in teaching grade one children about visiting the hospital, and she did it with a warmth and joy that made each tour unforgettable.
Candace had a smile that could light up any room, and a laugh that will echo in my heart forever. I am deeply thankful for the time she spent with our team, and her presence will be greatly missed. We were lucky to have known you, Candace.

I was saddened by the news of Candace's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Candace at Alexmuir Junior Public School for number of years starting in September 1996. She was always pleasant and welcoming when greeting parents, students and staff as they either entered or passed by the office. I very much appreciated her positive attitude, encouraging nature and wonderful sense of humour. We had many good times and laughs as we worked through some of the "interesting demands" in the educational arena. Since retiring, I appreciated catching up with her while we had our Alexmuir retiree's lunches or bumping into her and David at Costco. My condolences go out to David and Family. I know that she was loved and appreciated by many.

I have known Candy and her family for many years. We became friends and also neighbours on Valleycrest ave. Candy and I also worked together at TDSB in the same vicinity. We also vacationed together in cuba and Myrtle Beach. All terrific memorable times. Terry Patterson
Recently we visited with candy dave and Karen in November of this year. We spent time at their apartment and had a lovely lunch at a quaint little Italien restaurant. It was the last time we were together but a very loving one. She was one of a kind, a truly loving person to all. She will be sorely missed. Much love Terry and Ross

When ever we met Candace, we were greeted with a warm smile, a genuine interest in our lives and usually a humorous story that always resulted in a good laugh. Jess and I were very saddened to hear of her passing. You will be missed. Rest in peace Candace!
