Dear Anja and Family,
I worked with Stu for many years at Air Canada’s Computer & Systems Services Department (C & SS) on 151 Front St. West in Toronto. I was very shocked and saddened to learn of his passing
We maintained email communication through the years after retirement as he was a loyal member of the Friends of Front Street Group (FoFS) - a group I was instrumental in forming to encourage former AC friends and colleagues to stay in touch. Stu could always be counted on to attend our annual reunions. (the picture I submitted is on the Photo Gallery and is from one of those FoFS reunions)
Stu was a pleasure to be around with his gentle nature and ready smile and quirky sense of humour. I know he will be missed by so many. I have relayed the news to his former colleagues.
My deepest sympathy goes out to you, Anja, and to all of Stu's family at this very difficult time. May your many memories help to comfort you.
Sincerely,
Shirlee Schacter

I am so sorry to learn of Stu's passing. I too remember him as such a gentle, mild-mannered soul, with a ready smile and sometimes a chuckle. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends

Sadly another one bites the dust. Our acquaintance, friendship, camaraderie started from air canada reservec II project in 70s. Persisted for decades kept alive by Friends of Front street gang reunions, email, jokes and interesting things. Nonetheless you live on fondly in memory.

Anja and family
Anja, my deepest condolences, on the passing of Stu. I have many memories, of the dances in Hillsburgh and the good times held after the dances, at our mutual friend's homes with you and Stu.
It has been many years, since we have seen or talked to each other, but I still think of you and Stu
.
Since Gail's passing, the following poem has given me great comfort and peace. As you read this poem, may you feel the comfort and peace, as you reflect upon your many years with Stuart.
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,
I've only gone to rest a little while.
Although my leaving has cause pain and grief,
my going has eased my hurt and given me relief.
So dry your eyes and remember me,
not as I am now. but as I used to be.
Because, I will remember you all and look on with a smile.
Understand, in your hearts, I've only gone to rest for a little while.
As long as I have the love of each of you,
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you.

So sorry to hear this Stu was such a kind soul and I know my parents looking down had great memories with Stu. I remember fun times up on the annual Beaver Lake trip with the Wilson's and the Savages. Many a Christmas parade with the Kinsmen as well. Lots of love to you all.

Stuart will be missed by us. His marriage to Anja brought him into the fold of WCH Graduate nurses and his smile and card playing will be missed. Sorry we didn’t get that game in.
