Ms. Wade, as I knew her in the early days, was my grade 2 teacher at Fathers of Confederation. I remember the books we read together, the lessons she taught, her lovely demeanor, sense of humour and so many other things. All kids should be so lucky to have a Ms. Wade in their lives. Fast forward to high school when I learned that Ms. Wade was also the cousin of one of my best friends, Sharon. I was delighted to see her again then and a few times over the years through my dear lifelong friend Sharon. Carol Ann will always be Ms. Wade to me - she was a gem. My condolences to the Wade and Hyland families.
With much love,
Linda Christensen

Jim and \Karen Fitzpatrick,
Our condolences to the Wade family on the loss of your beloved sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Sadly, there will be an empty chair and one less voice at your frequent family gatherings. We know she'll be there in your hearts. RIP.

We said a few times over the years ‘we must get together, it’s been so long’ and we never did. I remember the week we spent years ago in Lake George, going to the Santana and Beach Boys concerts in Saratoga, times at the Walshs’ cottage, Quebec Carnival. I will always remember CarolAnn as a sincere, honest and fun loving person. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends. ❤️
