We were surprised and sorry to hear of Jean's passing. We knew Jean and Alex as good neighbours and friends at Swan Lake for 26 years. Later we visited with her at Bloom and were happy to see how well she settled in to her new home. She was a lovely lady and we will miss her very much.

Dear Sue George and Family
We were so saddened to read about your dear moms passing today in the Toronto Star. We know that she will be truly missed by all of her family. I will remember her as a distinguished lovely lady who truly loved your dad and your whole family. This was so evident in the joy she demonstrated in your family photos and in the loving support she provided for your dad, your children and her happy grandchildren. She too was so well loved by all of you.. May all those happier memories give you and your family comfort as you remember all your special individual connections and her unique talents..
Kindest Regards
Corinne, Laurie, Scott and Kristen Roberts

My mother, Evelyn Lazenby and I, would like to extend our deepest condolences to Jean's family.
Mom knew Jean in Swan Lake, and they became good friends at the Bloom Retirement Home.
I had the privilege of eating many lunches and dinners with Jean, and came to know her as such a kind and caring person.
We are both deeply saddened by her death, but know that she is watching over you all.

Our most sincere condolences to you Susan and all the family on the loss of your mother, a true family matriarch! Jean was an amazing neighbour from the time we moved into Swan Lake in 1997 until she moved to Bloom Retirement Home. She was always willing to lend a hand, even with her therapeutic touch on me before an abdominal surgery. When I decided to do an intricate needlepoint piece started by Stuart’s grandmother, Jean taught me how to do the stitches. Thanks to her encouragement I am determined to finish it. Stuart and I enjoyed a lovely lunch with her at Bloom recently, sharing Swan Lake and family stories. We will always remember her fondly.
