Hari
I love you brother.
A piece of me left here when your soul departed
I will miss our morning calls
Your laughter...your mumbling sarcasm
I will miss you at all the family get togethers
But I will never forget you. You have the heart of a lion and the soul of an angel
Oh dear Hari! Still it is very hard for me to accept that you are not with us anymore. I was very lucky to be your friend. Friend like you very rare to find. I know Hari almost 2 decades. Hari is always a mentor to me. He always try to teach me how to care for other people, how to help others, how to enjoy life with friends and family and most importantly how to become a great dad.
“To AJ (Hari’s Simba): your dad loved you more than anything in this world” ; I can guarantee you that!
I still had lots to learn from Hari but it is very unfortunate that he left us way too soon. I also know God has a plan for all of us. We all get called at different times and we are all not far behind from Hari.
I will miss you forever my dear friend. REST IN PEACE!
We are truly devastated and saddened by this great loss. Hari will be dearly missed. Hari was someone that I considered a very close friend and brother since we met 30 years ago in medical school. We had spoken only very recently prior to his passing. He had spoken to my Parents very recently as well. They considered him like a son. And beyond all, Hari was a fantastic father. We are Praying for Hari’s soul to attain to the highest and for Auntie’s, Murali’s, Ajay’s and family’s peace of mind. Prayers and God Bless you all. Ramanan, Padmini Auntie, Umakanthan Uncle and Family.

I still can't come to terms to think that Hari is no longer with us
and let alone trying to write an eulogy for Hari..it is too soon
Hari: Embodiment of "work and party" hard
Hari is a friend who was able to overlook especially my "short temper" and OCD behaviours and be there when I needed the most..
I met Hari after graduation in 1993 (the carefree 20s) or so, on a trip to Montreal...
Oh boy we did party and work hard ever since then, Puerto Rico to Singapore, we had it covered :-)...but Hari was on a mission which he achieved with hard work (years of studying) that I still can't understand how he did it. Perseverance and resilience are the characteristics that I can think of, which I certainly admire...
When I needed a true friend he was there for me, whether it be a "shrink for the moment", a nutritionist, and you name it... including; his visit to Cayman in 2002 to provide company during my initial settling-in (uncertainty in a foreign land) period, accompanying me all the way to Lanka/ India to see my Appa who was about to undergo an eye surgery in Madurai. Funny side of that Lanka/ India trip was that Hari only told Aunty that he was in Lanka after landing in Colombo, knowing that Aunty would have stopped him from going, due to political turmoil at that time. But we made it back in one piece :-).
Last few years - In search of happiness/ career progression/ and establishing a family - "project life" I call it, I moved to different countries/ continents and haven't been able to keep in touch. I regret that...
Hari.. you certainly have made me rethink the friendships that we all had/ have and yearn for, and how I should cherish it...I will ....
I pray for your "athma" to rest in peace, and I am certain that A.J. will be proud of you
