Dr G I only met you 3 times with my uncle and once for me. I was so happy with your manner with my uncle. You listened. You really listened! I was so happy to find another good doc to take me to my grave and now I am saying goodbye to the most compassionate, sweet, sincere and intelligent doctor I ever met. God speed Dr G. Hari was a great man. I met Hari when he lived in Chambersburg and we frequented the Orchards restaurant. We had some interesting talks, and he eventually became my cardiologist, and even so, my friend. When he moved back to the Philly area I also happen to move about a year later. I again looked him up and made him my Cardiologist. I trusted the man very much. He was always looking out for me. I will miss him dearly.

G I miss you more than anything, from the moment I met you, you taught me so much and never once judged me. Who you are and what your story is, is like no other. I will remember everything you taught me, live by your words of remind people who they are and to always stand up. I will miss the sarcasm, the mumbling and all the different languages you’d answer me in when I said huh/ what did you say, and yet I still couldn’t understand you, so you’d just smile and laugh at me. Doctor G was the greatest Doctor I ever met. I was cracking joke's from day one im not sure he knew how to take me but before long he was cracking joke's back . Trips to see him in the office was more like time to catch up on what each of us had been doing. He was more like family than doctor patient relationship. He and I had numerous conversations about me. Taking my medicine and he would always compare my heart to heating and air conditioning. That was his way to help me see the importance of my medicine. We had conversations about hunting. He told me stories of when he was a boy and hog hunted. We would laugh so hard that i'm sure we both were in tears. When I heard the news of g's passing I was speechless. We just never know when our time is up to everybody. Reading this live life to the fullest like everyday is your last. R.I.P. Dr.G

Dearest Aunty (Amma), Murali, Satnam, Carol, Ajay and family. Our deepest condolences goes out to you all and your lovely family. It's with a heavy heart that we have lost our beloved Hari who was more to us than just a neighbor, he had imprinted on our lives and has become a brother to us all. We will never forget all the times Hari would come to visit and ask for curry and pepper sauce (in which he specifically asked Angela his sister ahead of time to make). We will never forget his passion for gardening and his wiliness to always help plant flowers (especially the berry trees). Hari, we will always remember you when we look at our garden. One of the memories that we will always treasured is when Anthony was two years old and Hari would take him for a car ride and put him on his lap and drive him around the block. Anthony would be waiting for Hari and Murali to come home so that Hari can take Anthony for a car ride.
Hari memories will forever stay in our hearts, and as such, he was one of our loved ones that was taken too soon from this earth. Thank you for being the life of the party, the one that made everyone laugh and forget about the bad times and for always staying who you are. He cared about everyone and took care of all of us, he had the biggest heart we know. We all loved Hari very much and will never forget how much you mean to all of us. We are praying that you are resting and can finally be at peace. You're forever in our hearts.

Hari, I forgot to tell you one thing that the small curry leaf tree you gave me is so green and growing well.....You called me when I was in the air, and we had a chat for several minutes (you did not want to stop). I was over the Spain at that time...Thanks to T Mobile, we were able to talk for some time on October 25th. That became our last conversation. Man, you have taught me so much about medicine, cardiology, and life....I will dearly miss you, always in my heart..I will not find another friend like you. Our dear friend Hari, there are no words to describe the sadness we feel for your departure. Too soon and unexpected my dear friend but we know you are now an angel and heaven is a better place because you are now part of it We were so blessed to have met you, you left a big mark in our lives. We have so many beautiful memories of the times when you visited us in Miami or we visited you in Philly or Chambersburg, you made us laugh, loved to hear your stories, you cooked amazing food when we got together, always improvising but the best flavors came from your cooking!! You put so much love into it, you were so talented. You were also our medical adviser, you always gave us the best recommendations, always there for us. We will miss you dearly my friend, but we will see you soon because we will all be reunited, we will all transcend and leave this world and come to our origins, to our home, our spiritual world. Dr Gnanasakeram whom I affectionately knew as just “G” was such an amazing man. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. He never wavered from his commitment to his family,friends, and patients. He was alway on the cutting edge medicine. He had knowledge of newer therapies and did everything he could to make sure all his pts were treated with the best medications available. As a friend he was always there to lend a hand or encouraging word. Even though he had moved from our area we still had a special text chain because he wanted to keep that connection. My heart goes out to the family we are all grieving his loss. Cheers to you my friend may you have all the good food and drink your heart desires. Until we meet again.
