I met Daryl at our cousin Cassie’s wedding in 2014, and from the start Daryl was warm, inviting, kind, funny, smart and he loved Tammy and made her smile which was all the mattered to me. As we got to know him as did my future husband as well did, we knew Daryl was good as gold, a smile that lit up a room, loved sports, fishing, his kids were his pride and joy. I was so thrilled when Daryl “officially” joined our extended family, and my cousin Tammy had found her knight in shinning armour. Their foundation was solid, their love true and tender, and their story although unfairly cut short will live on in peoples hearts and minds. Life isn’t always kind or fair, and our hearts go out to Tammy and their children, and to Daryl’s loved ones dealing with this devastating loss. We thank you Daryl for being so kind, so fun to be around and most of all for loving Tammy and her large family. Rest easy dear friend.
Daryl burst into our life in a whirlwind of energy, happiness, positivity and love. We were all so thrilled that Daryl and Tammy had found each other, and that they were so much in love. They built a life together with their kids, parents, nieces and nephews that valued family, love and togetherness. Their generosity of spirit and happiness spilt over to everyone who knew them.
We are shocked and saddened with Daryl’s untimely passing. It is too soon, and his and Tammy’s life together was too short. His passing has left a huge void in our hearts and those of everyone who knew and loved him.
Daryl, we will remember you always and thank you for bringing light and love into our family. Tammy and family, you are in our thoughts and prayers. God bless.
