Walter and I taught with Peggy at Ray Underhill Public School in Streetsville for many years. She and Don lived across the street from the school and I remember that if she was doing any baking with her class, she would run over and put it in the oven! I think she had a woman who stayed there during the day and she would help with the baking. Peggy was a great artist and her home was filled with her vibrant paintings. When Walter and I were married in 1970, she and Don were living in England. She sent us a lovely pewter tray for our wedding. We still have it. Our sympathy to all her family.
