Margaret Louise Squire 1932-2023

Margaret Louise Squire, 91, of Streetsville, Ontario passed away on Sunday April 2, 2023.  Born February 12, 1932 in London , Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Henry Archibald Stevens and Marion Rooke Stevens.  Predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Clarence Donald Squire, sister Frances Rooke McCutcheon, and brother Richard Lyle Stevens.  She is survived by daughters Donna, Sandra (Ross), Anne (Jeff),and Janet (Ron) and brother Douglas Stevens. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Christopher (Megan), Stephanie (Randy), Scott, Jenny, Laura (Rob), Holly, Warren and Erica and great grandchildren Matthew, Andrew, Abigail, Fisher, Reed and Audrey.  Her lifetime of accomplishments include: her many exhibitions as a professional artist, her year as president of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and her years as an innovative educator.  Funeral Service will take place at 10:30 am Thursday April 6, 2023 at Dixon Garland Funeral Home in Markham, Ontario with visitation beginning at 9:00 am.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Federation of Ontario Naturalists.
