I first met Mr. Maybee at Kyle's christening in Kingston and he was yet to earn his endearing title, "Granddoug". No words I write will ease your sadness, but I am forever sorry for your losing someone so very special.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Doug's death. I admired his expertise and enjoyed him company and good sense of humour. I extend my deepest sympathies and condolences to his family.

For a number of decades Doug, and his wife Diane, were not just just faithful members of St. Thomas', Kingston, they were friends to many parishioners and the clergy. Doug served as our treasurer for years, and his acumen, insight and counsel always welcome.
May he rest in peace and rise in glory!
John, Mary-Ellen, Chris and the whole of your family be assured of our prayers at this time.
Blessings,
Ven. Bill Clarke +

Sending love to all who are grieving. Doug was a kind person and a beloved grandfather and great-grandfather, remembered fondly and missed greatly.
