Dorothy quite generously gave of her time to make people's lives better and I will always remember her fondly as a neighbour and a friend. One only had to ask, and Dorothy would help if she could. She had an amazing memory about the families who lived in old Markham and could be counted on giving good background information when asked. In hearing her words, the history of this community became alive. Well done Dorothy!
