Obituary of Scott Rowan Empringham

He will be missed by many...   

It is with deep sorrow and everlasting love that we mourn the passing of Scott Empringham of Stouffville, September 9^th, 2022 at the age of 66.

Scott will be dearly missed, forever loved and remembered by his wife of 37 years Kristine (nee Miller); son, Alex (Jessica); cherished granddaughter Ryann, his brother's, Paul (Chris), Ian (Sharon) and Blair; his sisters-in-law, Pam Goulbourne and Gail Jackson and brother-in-law, Ted Goulbourne. Scott was the much loved, fun uncle to numerous nieces, nephews and a family of close, loving friends who will feel his loss terribly.

Scott is predeceased by his eldest son Jeffery Scott Empringham.

An avid car enthusiast, Scott was a terrific source for anything automotive, whether it be tires, restoration or directions. He was often lovingly referred to as “Scottquest”. He could frequently be spotted driving his beloved 1967 Chevelle around Stouffville.

He had a flair to tell stories in a colourful, amusing way. He was loyal, proud and incredibly hard working with a wonderful sense of humour. Whether Scott had known you for days or decades, he left an impression on all lucky enough to have known him.

A Public Viewing will be held in his memory on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Dixon Garland Funeral Home, Markham.

A Funeral Service will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the Dixon-Garland Chapel. Cremation to follow.
