Obituary of Monika Meristo Gray

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Monika on Saturday September 3 2022 at the age of 74. She will be remembered by her family Ashley, Mike, Mai-Britt, Erik, Brent, and many dear and cherished friends.  Monika loved her family, life and her generosity to others had no limits. She spent many wonderful years as a teacher with the TDSB and YRDSB. An important part of Monika was her ability to encourage and help others. Her motto was to be positive, grateful, thankful, full of faith and to take it “one day at a time.” The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital and Margaret Bahen Hospice. 

Family and friends are welcome to a celebration of life between 10am - 1pm Saturday October 8th 2022 at the Hunt Club, 610 Bullock Drive, Unionville ON L3R 8H4. Additional parking at Markville Mall.

Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or to the Margaret Bahen Hospice.
