What can one say when a star vanishes from the sky? I’ve known Monika for 46 years and I’ve always admired the lioness in her. Whatever the odds; defeat was never an option. With humour, with determination, with an unbelievable belief in herself, she never gave up. I will look in the evening sky, pick the brightest star and think of Monika; a soul that will live forever in my heart.
