Bruce, So sorry to hear about your Dad.
Mom and Mr. Thomson have had some great conversations, especially when they talked about taking you kids to hockey games and practices when you were younger. You and I talk about food LOL.
Thank you Mr. Thomson for making our world a better place to be. Heaven has gained another angel.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to Shirley and the family. Don was not only my mechanic for decades but I also considered him a friend. Honest as the day is long. Bruce has carried on Don's legacy. Don always had a smile, a cherry word and a tale to tell and seemed to always have a twinkle in his eye. I will miss his PEI humour. I have been honoured to have known this gently man.

Don maintained and repaired our cars for decades. He never met a car that he couldn’t fix! It was a huge relief to have a trustworthy mechanic, now carried on by his son, Bruce. We greatly appreciated Don’s volunteering at church- ticket sales, greeter.
Don was a kind, caring, individual that we had the privilege of knowing. R. I. P. You will be missed.

Donna and I have wonderful memories of Don and Shirley attending our wedding some 50 yrs ago. Don always had a smile
on his face that went along with his wit and general good nature. We also had the privilege of having Don and Shirley visit us
in Texas some years back. Great couple and we will miss Don as he always added humor to our phone conversations.
Our deepest Condolences to Shirley and the entire Thomson Family

All of my childhood memories about Uncle Don are of him laughing. He used to tell me I had one Thomson dimple and one Sentner (my mom) dimple and compare them to his own. The excitement we had watching their car driving up the driveway…it was like summer didn’t start till they got here. I picture those gone from here to be sitting, laughing, telling stories, maybe even a fiddle tune or 2 and always a “lunch” to end the night. Condolences and hugs to Aunt Shirley, John and Bruce and families. From the PEI Thomsons

Dear Shirley & Family
Cliff & I are very sorry to hear of Don’s passing.
We remember his wonderful laugh. We love the story of his spring trip to PEI, in April, returning home with seed potatoes, which he planted & you, Shirley, have begun to harvest. A true islander through & through. He loved to joke & tell stories, always faithful to his church & loyal to his many friends.
We will miss him. Bev & Cliff

It seems Don and Shirley have been associated with Central at least as long as we have, and both being Maritimers, we felt that connection every time we saw Don's smile. As well, Don looked after several of our vehicles, always with that same, friendly smile. Shirley, please accept our sympathies at your great loss. Dina and Dave Cox

We remember Don from Central United Church for his kindness and the many many hours he volunteered there. We also enjoyed Don’s company every morning for many years at HoneyBee donuts ( before Covid) as we all became “ regulars “ there for breakfast. Don was such a kind person. He will be missed.
