Don and Art's relationship started when Barb brought Art home. It was said he used to spy around corners to see what they were doing, as little brothers do. Every weekend skiing with them, Don's trip to Montreal to visit when they moved.
I came into the picture in 1964. They were so much fun and accepting, I felt like family right away.
Our first trip together was to Expo '67! Art making sure we got on right buses, and pushing to make sure we all got on together.
Children came along, so many dinners at each other's homes, the cousins got rowdy at times, usually ending the youngest Bryan,
getting the worst of it.
Golf came along Art and Don were hooked, Barb took it up, and she eventually got me involved, many Sundays were spent at Mill Run. Our trip to Captiva, Florida, is such a great memory. Art and Don golfing, and Barb and I shopping the outlet malls.
Life sped by and our trips turned to Port Perry for lunch at the Piano Cafe, and back to our house to gab and play with Marty.
We will miss Art's sense of humour, his little jokes, and his laugh, mostly a giggle! We will miss him dearly.
