Condolences to the family.
I worked with Colin briefly in the '70s at IBM.
He took us to a nearby Indian restaurant so he could guide us through the menu but after more than an hour waiting for some food we discovered the Indian food chef was off. Colin went in to the kitchen to help the substitute chef, but after some chapati it was obvious we weren't going to get anything else, so we had to leave hungry.
