I have many fond memories of Mr. Sewell. The early morning trips to visit the farm with Kevin, when we were young boys. He always let me help with the chores even though I was slowing him down. Murray taught me how to milk the cows. I will always cherish those times as a young boy.
My condolences to the family

Born and raised into the Talisman Crescent family, it didn’t take long to connect with those neighbours who took time to pay attention to the kids, all the kids. The Sewells easily became those kind of parents who welcomed us and all the energy we would bring.
Mr. Sewell stood out. He was always fun to be around and had a great sense of humour. I have many wonderful memories of interactions with Mr. Sewell on Talisman Cres and the many times I worked with Kevin on the farm in the summers.
Mr. Sewell left such an imprint on my life that when my family moved from Markham to Stouffville, we would return every Halloween to visit my parents and I would take the kids to trick or treat at 14 Talisman Crescent to hang out with Mr. Sewell, talk Leafs and have “a little of the Crown”. I did this for many years because I wanted my kids to be a part of the kindness and joy that he brought to my life.
Like in all of our stories, we are shaped by those characters from our past on our journey through childhood to teen and then adults. Mr. Sewell was a person who left an indelible imprint on my journey.
My condolences go out to Mrs. Sewell, Deborah and Kevin, Kevin and Shelley and grandchildren.

We have lost one of the finest people that ever touched our lives - a fine example of what a man should be.
In my late teens, early twenties- I was always welcomed in their home with open arms. Murray was always glad to see you and would always ask about one's family. Both of my children have very positive memories of him, as we all do. Murray RIP as we all loved and respected you.
