Please accept our condolences upon the loss of Rick Powell. We met Rick and Mary through our dogs, when they came to visit Rick's mother Irene (our next door neighbour, at the time). Their dogs Sadie and Finnegan were both sweet and gentle creatures.
A tribute both to Rick and Mary We met Debbie a little later and found her to be such a warm and caring person. Rick will be remembered well by those who knew him. Our hearts go out to the whole family at this sad time. The Armstrongs

Mary we are very sad to learn that Rick is gone. Liz and I always enjoyed the variety of conversations we had with Rick at your driveway or ours. He remained positive and cheerful throughout.
He will be missed.

Debbie, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beloved brother, Rick. You and I have been life long friends, and I have fond memories of your happy, playful, sweet little brother. He grew up to be a loving and generous man and I know he will always be by your side.
My love and deepest sympathies to you, Mary and all members of Rick's family.

After 22 years it’s hard to believe that we will no longer hear that “Howdie Neighbour “ greeting when Rick would take his beloved dog for a walk. We will miss the talks over the fence covering everything from mechanics to grass and then in the last year and a half baking. It was such a treat for us to be able to share our cooking and baking trials and tribulations. Rick’s positive attitude and his zest for life will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
Mary, know that you don’t travel down this road alone . Although Rick was taken from you way too soon I am sure he will always be there to watch over you. He will live on in all our hearts as we hold dear the memories he gave us.

I'm very sorry that my cousin Rick is no longer with us. Far too soon.
He was a very cheerful, decent and generous fellow. Always ready to talk and never a mean thing to say about anyone. He was an unfailing and uncomplaining support to his mother and our Uncle Roy in their last years - it was a comfort to me to know that the was there when they needed him. He didn't count the cost when it came to helping those near him. I feel luckier than I deserved to have him as a cousin.
Thinking of you in this difficult time, Mary - Love, Lawrence

Mary, words cannot express how saddened we are to hear of Rick's passing. We will always remember his jovialness and lovely demeanour. I will personally miss chatting with him whenever I would see him in the backyard. There will always be a hole in our heart and our neighbourhood, with his loss. Love always, Antonietta, Mike, Nikiella, Nolan and Mico Groff

Although we hadn’t know Rick for a long time, it was that gentle funny and honest spirit that made us feel like we had.
It is sad and we will miss him.
Our love to Mary, his daughter and granddaughters who he spoke of with great love.
Rest easy Rick,

I`m deeply sorry to hear the passing of my long time friend Rick. Rick and I had a passionate love for motor racing. I had great times watching Rick restore his Black JPS mini and having some wild rides with him.
He was always a great friend who was always there for you in good times and bad.
My deepest sympathy to Mary and Family and friends.
We'll meet and live and love again
