Marina and family (the boys), I was so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. He was a comforting presence against the challenges of life, had a great sense of humour and was patient when we teased him! He will be missed. Lisa and family (the boys)

We would like to express our deepest condolences to Marina and their whole family. Don & I have been Bob & Marina’s neighbours for 34 years. When our kids were all young and playing out on the street Bob would often be out there too. In more resent years Bob would sit outside on his front porch and if I walked by he would always say Hi Ruth and then we would have brief conversation about life. We would have wanted to come to the visitation or funeral but with the Covid numbers we did not feel comfortable going inside, very sorry... We hope your memories of Bob bring you comfort in the coming days... Sending virtual hugs, Ruth Russell & Don Morrison

My condolences to Bob's family. I worked with him for the first 5 years on the job at 32 Division in North York.
Unfortunately I did not see him again after he left Metro. but judging from what I have read, he had a full life and a very successful career. R.I.P. old comrade.

My deepest sympathy to Bob’s family at this time. Bob was my coach officer when I joined York and his words of wisdom remained with me during my 30 years as a police officer. Family first was his first rule to me and I never forgot that. Bob will be missed. MH #613.
