Sending heart felt condolences on behalf of Nan and Robert Bridge who met Dorothy and Ricardo in East Africa. Nan and Dorothy kept in contact with each other over the years and Dorothy is remembered by our family as a very warm and caring women. My mum, Nan, now 97 years old, loved receiving Dorothy's letters and hearing all about her travels. She will be missed.
From her friends in England - The Bridge Family, (Nan, Robert, Lesley and Fiona).

We will fondly remember auntie Dorothy for her many talents - from the beautiful First Communion dress she made for Lauren, to her stories of adventures in Sri Lanka that she shared with Kavinda. Her influence on our lives was much greater than she would have known. May she now be at peace, reunited with uncle Riccardo. With love, Lauren & Kavinda.

Dorothy was such an amazing neighbour. She and Ricardo made us feel so welcomed when we moved to Rouge Street. They had a sundowner for us so we could meet all the other neighbours on our street. It was such a heart warming gesture. We felt at home right away. Dorothy even knitted a baby blanket for our daughter while she was on her cruise. We had such a great time with her over tea listening to her and Ricardo’s latest travels. They let us use their pool multiple times. They were a such a wonderful couple. She will be greatly missed by us. Our condolences to all her family and friends Ashifa, Hussein and Alyssa

Auntie Dorothy was an inspiring woman. We have many fond memories over tea discussing her adventures to far off places. We know that she will be reunited with Zio Riccardo again, and take solace that they will be together for time eternal.

Auntie Dorothy will always be remembered for her many talents and passions: baking, sewing, knitting, quilting; she shared these with others through her teaching career and extended family. She had a love for travel and sharing her experiences with all of us.
In life, God granted Auntie Dorothy many graces, including a loving and supportive husband. May God, in his mercy, grant that she be together with Uncle Riccardo in paradise forever. All our love, Joe and Marina

Thank you, Dorothy, for teaching me that dressmaking is far more complicated than I could have imagined. As a creative person, it was lovely to share in her interest in fashion and appreciate how much careful craftsmanship both Dorothy and Riccardo expressed in their work. I hope you are both having a tea together, reunited again! Love, Madeline and Joseph
P.s, we will never forget the epic devilled eggs and cow tongue served at dinner! Xoxo

I will never forget that 16th birthday pool party for Anna at her home in Markham. She made us girls all feel like young ladies and introduced us to Baked Alaska!
Many years of dinners and celebrations shared and always filled with her wit. Always enjoyed Dorothy’s tales of her incredible travels throughout the world and how excited she was for the next cruise.
My sincere condolences to all her family.
