I am grateful that I was able to spend lots of time with my papoulie. He was always supportive of the things I wanted to do, including my tattoo apprenticeship. He asked me to tattoo a cross over his heart when I am further along, and I thought it was so amazing that he who had no tattoos, wanted to get one from me. I would sometimes give him my drawing tablet and get him to sketch things out for me. I still have two little drawings he did saved. We shared a love of art, and I would sometimes say I got my artistic abilities from him.
I will never forget everything he did for my brother and I. I will miss you papoulie.
