So sorry to hear about Murray. I have 2 fond memories of him. 1st, when I was running Cedarena, and Murray would come every Saturday morning and teach kids how o play hockey. The 2nd is when I was working for RS&G, and was loaned out to RRF. Murray was at the harvest field every day, prepared to fix those crazy corn picking machines. I was amazed at his skills. RIP Murray. Until we meet again.
Sincerely Gary Mount

To the Nash/Burkholder Family....
Our deepest condolences on your recent losses of two true Saints of the Lord, Mother and Son!!
"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you... For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;" What a glorious inheritance in the Lord that my own little growing family has right now, because the example of the Nash family!! Murray, and to all of us very loved "Baby Boomer" Sunday School kids, was a big brother to all, strong tall and gentle like our Shepherd Jesus!! Lots of fun and kind natured gestures & antics in Youth Group and Camp Medeba winter camp weekend. Loved getting to know Ellie when we - "the two Ellie's" worked together weekends at Markhaven.
Murray gave me courage to continue on with my stringed instrument, cello, which I am doing to this day!! Loved his passion for the Lord he expressed though his violin. I will never forget it. Although skills were still being honed, his heart was one of true worship, pure and strong, fervent for the Lord through his violin!! So many treasured memories growing up together in the Lord at Richvale Bible Chapel. Thank you Murray for living out, more in deed than in word, your steadfast abiding faith, the meekness and gentleness of Christ....2Cor.10:1 We stayed the course due to your and your family's example.
Thanks, a sister in the Lord from those many years ago.....

I wish to express my condolences to the Nash family, I first got to know Murray at the University Of Guelph. Only in the last 10 or so years did we reconnect. I was truly encouraged by Murray in the ministries that I was supporting. Murray had a great interest in helping others whether in Ontario or around the world. His Christian lifestyle and example was a blessing to all who crossed his path! Our loss is heavens gain! We know he is now at rest.

Murray was a dedicated family man with a heart big enough to see the good in everyone. His passing will leave a large hole in the life of many. He had a wide array of talents and interests that encompassed almost any task that had to be done either planned or unexpected. I recall one Sunday morning when the pastor approached me in the kitchen at the church and, not knowing my distinct lack of talent, asked if I could help with a skit at the front of the church. I demurred but said I knew exactly who could help him out. I told him it would probably be the next person to walk through that kitchen door. Almost on que we saw the tall lean form of Murray, with his typical broad smile, walk through the door. Sure enough he was "volunteered" and gladly left with the pastor to learn his lines. In life he was tested by many challenges and many have benefited by his wonderful willingness to help others or lend a caring ear. He will be missed by his family and so many friends.
