Obituary of Ruth Myrtle Cruickshank

Joined her late husband George Campbell (2004) in glory on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Union Villa Long Term Care Home in Markham at the age of 98. Mother of Douglas, Don (Shirley), Barbara (Jeff). Grandmother of Stephen, Rebecca, Sarah, Amy, Rachel. Andrew, Aaron and Catherine. Great-Grandmother of Abby, Carly Jean, Gabriel, April, Vanessa, Olivia, Gemma and Eliza.

Ruth was born December 6, 1922 in Toronto and sold Real Estate in the Markham area for many years. She was a Member of Markham Baptist Church for over 60 years.

Ruth and George enjoyed winter months during retirement in Dunedin, Florida for over 18 years, and summers at the family cottage at Deanlea Beach as well as travelling together to other faraway places.

A private family interment will take place at Park Lawn Cemetery on June 30, 2021 with a memorial service to be held at Markham Baptist Church, 110 Church St., Markham L3P 2M4 on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 AM along with streaming on Zoom.
