Obituary of Catherine Wallace Sutherland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine “Kaye” Sutherland nee Carmichael on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the wonderful age of 94. Loving wife of the late Ross Sutherland. Beloved mother of Steve (Sherri), Rick (Audrey), Mark (Suzanne) and Kirk. Cherished and proud granmother of Lee, Alexa, Brooke, Jordan, Fraser, Lauren and Lindsay. Great granmother to Nolan.
Kaye was born in Toronto on August 6, 1926. She was a member of the Royal Conservatory of Music. She was an accomplished singer, artist, seamstress and a wonderful mother to her four boys.

A private Funeral Service will take place at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 1 pm. Private interment at Elmwood Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
