Pardon this late message. I didn't know Kaye for very long, she was a lovely lady, loved by everyone at Butternut Manor. It was my privilege to know her during my time as general manager there.
My sincere condolences to Kaye's family.

Frank and I have fond memories of times shared with Kaye and Ross through our barbershop connections in the sixties. We met through East York Chapter and we’re introduced to The Sutherland’s by the Stanbury’s. Kay and I continued our friendship working along with The Markham Mates. Thanks for the treasured Memories. Frank and Bunny Judson

Kirk:
Your Mother was an incredible woman. Extremely bright and well informed. Carole and I enjoyed her company along with your Father. She always praised her four boys and her grandchildren. She contributed greatly to the Markham Historical Society quarterly publication. They were great articles that she would generate and were well received by the members. We dislike to see people pass on, however Kaye had a remarkable life and has left a lasting legacy. May she rest in peace with your Father.
Vade in Pace.

Kaye was always engaged in my children's lives. When my kids would go over, there was always juice boxes and cookies at the ready. She would send Fraser home with 2 cookies. "One for each hand!" Lol Summertime was pool time that got the kids excited! When it was Fraser, Lindsay and cousin Lauren over, that was triple excitement! They'd run in the house then jump in the tub afterwards to warm up.
(There wasn't a heater in the pool).
Time goes too quickly. Hold on tight to those you love, or reconcile.
RIP Kaye
Love,
Kathy
