Obituary of Ian Stewart Morrison
Peacefully at Markham-Stouffville Hospital in his 91st year surrounded by loving family members. Ian was predeceased by his devoted wife June (nee Lindsay), and by his parents Norman and Helen Morrison of Unionville. He leaves behind loving children Julia (Leonard), Christopher (Nancy), and David (Colleen), and grandchildren Ali (Aaron), Will (Katrina), Jim (Anna), Mallory (Simon), Leanne (Chandler) , Ian (Nikki), Evan, Graeme (Ashlee), Caelin and Meaghan (Matt). Treasured great grandchildren Caeden, Mayla, Olive, Evely, Finn and Miles. Ian also leaves behind brother-in-law Stephen (Bonnie), and treasured nieces Lisa (Mike) and Michelle.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Trinkaus and the wonderful team of health care professionals at Markham-Stouffville Hospital for all of the incredible care and support over the last couple of years. If desired, donations may be made to the Oncology Department at Markham-Stouffville Hospital. Condolences may be left on Ian's Tribute Wall. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
