Obituary of Shirley Jane Mahoney

In her 81st year, sadly Shirley Jane Mahoney passed away peacefully at home.  Loving partner to the late Jim Gray.  Beloved mother of Catharine Mahoney and Brett Brownell (Janette), and loving step-mother to Doris Mahoney.  Proud grandmother to Jacob, Sara, Chayanne, Thomas, Rebecca, and Sean.  She was the loving daughter of the late Cecil Atkinson and Hazel Hamill.   Loving sister to Joan Warr, Bob Atkinson, Paul Hamill, Pat Hamill and Debbie Simpson.  Mom was full of life and loved to dance but sadly we must say goodbye, but we will never stop loving her.  Until we meet again mom, keep the dance floor alive for us. Special thank you to all the PSW’s and nurse staff that assisted her in her time of need and to Dr. Patterson with the palliative care team with Evergreens. A special thank you to our Aunt Joan who took care of our mom all this time. You truly are a blessing.
