I never met your mom Ekua, but my most heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Even though a little late I know that mothers are so special and you probably speak to her daily, I still do and my mom passed in 2004. Life has a way of going so fast but I wish your mother peaceful rest and may you feel her arms around you whenever you need that mother hug. Know I think of you and your family often and cherish the times we spent together. Much love.

It broke our hearts to lose Maame but she didn't go alone, part of us went with her the day God called her home. We will always cherish Maame's contagious smile and we grieve with you for your loss. Tears can heal, memories can comfort and love lives on forever.
Wishing you strength for today and hope for tomorrow. May our gracious Lord give you the strength and comfort at this difficult time. May Maame's sweet soul rest in perfect peace. Rest well, Maame Mercy.

I can hear her saying, 'my daughters, you look so beautiful, you never age'. I can see the lovely welcoming smile on her face as she welcomed us into her room. I can see her eyes light up and surround us with such warmth.
Yes, a bright light has gone out but the memory of Maame will forever stay with me. Rest in peace Maame.

Aunty Mercy, my dear cousin-in-law, a friend and a confidant. A dedicated Christian who always lived by her Christian faith which was much encouragement to us. Much loved and never to be forgotten. She was so kind, loving and understanding. Her pieces of advice were ever so ready whenever I passed by the house to say "Hi". I remember our silent giggles during rehearsal for Carols Night, when Prof would scream because we sang off chord. We had our tete a tete about things that bothered us and our common assurance that we had a living God. NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN, Aunty Mercy, Rest In Perfect Peace

Maame, your passing only reinforced your love and care for Paapa; your beloved Husband especially during his final days. Your cheerful outlook on life, your laugh, and simply referring to all of us as "my children" when you could not remember our names, the joy of looking forward to visiting you in the Nursing home reminded us to simply accept the different stages in life. Your memories are forever etched in our hearts and I will always remember your wisdom shared with all your "children". Rest in perfect peace Maame

Maame was a fun loving and a God fearing woman. She was kind, warm and had a ready smile for all. I can still remember her warm and enthusiastic welcome any time I visited her... mo kun ooh! ... she would say as she gave me a big hug. I’ll sit next to her and start teasing her to make her laugh even more. I’ll miss Maame dearly. Rest in perfect peace Maame.

Dearest Abena, Alan & Nicholas,
What a beautiful tribute to an amazing woman ❤️. I’m sad I never got to meet her but just reading your tribute, I felt all the love & pride your family hold for her. She comes from that generation that is so very precious. The lessons they taught us, we will carry with us and pass it on to our children, just as your mum did for you❤️ She will always be a part of you, always there in your heart & memories. Please accept our deepest condolences. May eternal light shine upon her and her soul rest in peace ❤️
