HOLDEN, Elizabeth (Betty) Caroline

Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in her 91st year.
Loving mother to her late son Allen (Sub) Holden, late daughter Lynda Jack (David), son Robert (Bob) Holden, and daughter Laurie Holden. Proud grandmother of Melissa Jack, Beth McNally-Jack, and Ashleigh Jack, great grandmother to Albany and Ellie, and Nana to Jennifer Campbell and Damien. Daughter to the late Ross and Gladys Norton. Sibling to Hazel, Jeanne, Gordon, Ron, Nick, Bert, Donna, David, Ruby, June.
Betty lived most of her years in Unionville and was a strong, independent woman who was determined to live life on her terms until the end. She was a member of the Unionville Alliance Church for many years and was admired by many. She was truly loved by all her family and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will be received at Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street North, Markham for visitation on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 for 1-hour increments from:

Our family would like to thank all the staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their care and compassion of Betty in her final days.
