Obituary of Cheri Lynn Wilson

It is with great sadness that the family of Cheri Lynn Wilson (nee Wilkinson) announce her passing on September 12, 2020. Cheri died peacefully in the arms of her husband and 3 children. Soulmate and best friend to Dave, loving mother to Courtney, Rachel and Brett. Beloved daughter to Ken and Candace Wilkinson. Cherished sister to Christine (Patrick) and Paul (Paola). Adored aunt to Ella, Ryan, Haley, Kylie, Amanda, Daniel and Nicholas. Sister-in-law of Janet (James).

Cheri worked for central LHIN for most of her career. She was a gifted care giver, who lived for her family and friends. She was kind, compassionate, thoughtful and loving. She faced her illness with courage and strength and will be missed by all who loved her.

Her family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Princess Margaret Hospital and Markham Stouffville Hospital, a special thank you to Yvonne at Central LHIN and Dr. Jang.

Friends and family will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main St. North (Markham Road), Markham on Wednesday, September 23, by reservation only.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Church, 5633 Highway 7, Markham, Ontario on Thursday, September 24 at 11 a.m. Unfortunately, all reservation spots for the Mass have been filled.

Donations made in Cheri’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
