Marilyn Vivian Wright née Young

Marilyn was born March 9th 1934 to the late Mary and Wilfred Young and she passed away August 29 2020 in Markham. Marilyn was married to the late Ronald Wright on May 15 1953. Within the 38 years they had four children: Wendy Bond (Derrick), Sue Penney (Tony), Stephen (Carolyn) and Jeff (Tracey). Marilyn was the third of eight children: the late Don (Joan), Jack (Jean), the late Bill, the late Joan, Al, Doug (Teresa) and Paul (Laurie). Grandmother to, Kim Penney (Derek), Robert Penney (Daisy), Heather Bond (Rob), Patricia Bond (Russ), Danny Wright, Vivian Wright, Adeline Wright, Emily Wright, Ronni Wright, Blaise Page (Amanda), Dylan Page, Connor Page (Rachel). Great Grandmother to, Wyatt Beattie and Clinton Beattie (Heather), Rezy, Anthony and Alexander (Robert and Daisy), Lincoln Page and Oakley Page (Blaise and Amanda). Marilyn was born in Toronto and lived her life in the surrounding areas of Scarborough, Markham, Richmond Hill and Stouffville. Before settling down in marriage, Marilyn worked for Bell. An avid gardener and seamstress, Marilyn enjoyed taking care of her children and home. Marilyn will be reunited with her late husband Ronald at Elmwood Cemetery, Markham. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in memory of Marilyn to a charity of your choice.
