That laugh and that smile! Uncle Laurie, I will never forget how you made me feel and those that were in your life. You will absolutely be missed. It was a small moment, but we will also cherish our trip to Jamaica in 2017 when we stopped by for a visit (see picture).
Laurie “Captain”, you were much more than a friend to us for the past 40+ years. We are honored to have you, Tonette, Terry & Laurie-Anne (and families) as part of our family. We also know that you were a man that loved God and you are in a better place in Christ’s hands in eternity. Rest in Peace our brother. You were loved by us. Ray “Skipper”, Pam, Pierre, Moy & Eden
Uncle Laurie: always the most positive, jubilant, vibrant person in the room. I love you so much and will eternally miss your laughter, warm hugs and presence. Rest peacefully. You were a great uncle.
Tonette, Terry & Lori-Anne,
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Laurie.
Laurie & Tonette became closer to us after they bought their vacation house in Jamaica.
We had several road trips all over the island, and having dinners at each others homes. We had so much fun.
I will not forget that hug from Laurie when he was leaving for Canada in March. He said, “Aunty Ver, Covid or no Covid, I am hugging you!” That will certainly remain with me forever.
Sleep in Peace Laurie. We will always have you in our hearts.
Ronny & Verone Crichton.

A good heart has stopped beating and a kindled soul ascended to heaven.
My most sincere condolences to Tonette and family,
May the Care and Love from those around you provide Comfort and Peace in the days ahead.
RIP Laurie
Love and Blessings, Courtney and Marcia
The loss of Laurie my good friend is difficult to put into words. We became friends some 50 years ago when we both drove Minis and sImply just had lots of fun. We remained good friends over the years and a better friend is hard to find knowing you could always count on him. His infectious laugh, sense of humour and ability to ‘hold court’ on almost any subject will be greatly missed. Both Pat and I will surely miss him.
Sincere condolences to Tonette, Terry, Lori-Anne and family.
RIP my friend.
Sammy & Pat
