The Markhaven Family Council extends sincere condolences to Pat's family. She and her "buddy" always enjoyed the special, interactive entertainment sponsored by the Family Council. Elvis was a particular favourite!

I never met Pat but I am a neighbour of her sister Jill who has in the last year or 2 moved out and Jill always spoke very highly of her sister Pat. Jill turned 80 this year a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to send her a card as I used to every year when she lived here however no one seems to have a forwarding address. Jill always spoke highly of her niece Sherri too and I tried to send Jill a 80th birthday card so Sherri if u could please give her my LOVE from her old neighbour Frances Russell, if she still remembers me , Tell her a Belated 80th Birthday !! I had my 80th last year and my " kids" threw me a big party at the cafe symposium here in Thornhill and I would have invited Jill but couldn't as I had no address for her and the phone STILL goes into voicemail from her friend Rita but no one every calls me back even tho the greeting from Rita says they would call back and I left at least 90 messages over the last 2 years. I dont understand why they still keep the phone number since no one ever calls back!!!!!! With my DEEPEST sympathy on the passing of your sweet Mom.
Sincerely Frances Russell xoxoxo

I was so very sorry to hear of Pats passing. She and my Grandfather knew each other at Markhaven. Long after my Grandfather Walter Muirhead passed I still went to visit with Pat and Verna. The last time I saw Pat was to share my wedding photos with her. ☹️ I always loved showing her photos of all of my pets and I enjoyed hearing stories of her cat. I will miss her dearly. My deepest condolences to her entire family ❤️

Don and I are very sorry to hear of Pat’s passing. Pat lived in the same unit at Markhaven as my mother and Don’s cousin. We were drawn to Pat by her warm smile and outgoing nature. Our interactions were always enjoyable and filled with laughter. At lunchtime Don used to wander over to her table and regale the residents with some small life story and Pat always improved the outcome with her quick wit! She was a lovely lady. We feel like we’ve lost a good friend.
