Today we said goodbye and we planted a cherry tree for my mother . We will call the tree the mother as we all remember what mom was saying with that statement. She was strong kind loving and caring . A part of her energy has been planted in this tree for us all to remember and enjoy. Good bye mom I am eternally grateful for every thing that you shared with us in life.
Moms wedding photo in Bolton England.
Mom with her big black dog Zacky. He went with her everywhere and left behind a trail of long black hair....everywhere!
Mom with her brother, Uncle Georg.
He was such a goof with a good sense of humor. Here we’re in Germany and he’s getting the coals in the bbq going with an old bicycle pump.
In addition to losing our mother, we lost our Uncle Georg a few years ago. As we were his only remaining family his ashes made the long trip to Canada from Germany and will be buried along with our mother. They’ll keep each other company and share many more laughs together. RIL. (Rest in laugh)
