Dear Aunt Helen, Lisa, Julie and Susan and family. I am so very sorry for your loss. I think of you so often as you go through this very difficult time. Our condolences to the Coxe family. I wasn't as close to Uncle Peter as many of the large O'meara clan. But, I do recall the occasional visit with the Coxe family as a child. Uncle Peter and Aunt Helen were always gracious hosts. My mom shared some details of Peter's last evening and I'm so glad the family could be there at the end. Be strong for each other.

Hands down my favourite memory, aside from the always warm welcome Mr. Coxe had when cars full of teenagers descended on the house, was his rhetorical question to Andi as to whether or not her friends knew the house had a porch as they were up on the roof chatting.
Nothing can ever prepare you for this loss; but knowing that he is forever looking down from his new porch is a bit of a comfort.
